Another Denver Art Museum Update✨

I am back again with another small update on the Denver Art Museum repatriation talks with my tribe. In summary, they met with my Tribe and communicated that the council wishes to start fresh and is considering new claims in the collection. Next month, there will be another meeting to determine how the Tribe would like to proceed. As I say in my video, I am waiting until the items are home before I call this a win.

I did speak to him recently about the call-out video. He said, “Good job, TikTok.” He also wants me to come visit.

I am working on funding a trip back home to Sitka to see him in September. We’ve got the tickets covered; just working on accommodations. He has asked for my help at a conference, but I also aim to have some Sitka content for you all in September!
