Getting ready for more travel:
My dad has asked me to attend a conference in Alaska this September.
The last week or so has been unlike anything I could have imagined. It has been incredible. Thank you, everyone, for your support in calling out the Denver Art Museum; I am closely watching for updates and will share any publicly available information. I have spoken to no less than three journalists this month about various topics and am just so grateful that these subjects are getting the required attention.
I also attended an Indigenous Conference last week, where I connected with some truly incredible folks. The validation I experienced getting confirmation from experts on some complex issues was good for my mental health. The community building across tribes and expertise was a first-time experience for me to be included in. I am honored that I was chosen to attend.
Next on the to-do list: is planning for the next conference in September. This one will be in Alaska and more travel-intensive than my last few trips. My dad is part of the organizing, and I believe it will be centered around Indian Boarding Schools.

I have also been reflecting on how to manage the platform better as things continue to grow and evolve. Lately, I have had to make tough choices regarding how much energy and time I can give the various platforms. I’ve had to step back in many ways to restrategize how to best unify my message across the board. Some things get posted to platforms that don’t always make it to others. So, thank you to all the folks who may or may not have noticed me experimenting with delivery recently.
