I am doing my best to take my own advice.

Staying focused and not allowing my reactions and emotions to be taken advantage of.

My mind has been racing about the potential implications of the shooting at the Trump rally this weekend. I was up all night watching how mainstream media was covering the developments and how social media was reacting to the information that’s become available. Many conspiracy theories gripped the internet as details were slowly released.

I tried to take some time to ground myself today before the next leg of this political cycle. The violence floor is much higher now. All of the compounding factors of the entire news cycle from the last two weeks are overwhelming. But we must keep going.

The propaganda will likely get worse as things progress. We all need to be mindful of what content we engage with and be critical of sources.
