What began as an internet joke about supporting the actions of boat-tipping orcas has taken on a life of its own. The internet can’t agree on much, but they can agree on orcas. Orca memes have taken over the feeds of every platform. It’s reaching die-hard fandom levels in some cases. It’s me- I am one of those cases. The sticker I mentioned in the last few newsletters continues to go viral.
The way so many communities have resonated with the message and the orcas has given me so much joy. People have shown an incredible amount of love, and it gives me hope for change. People are laughing and coming together over shared ideas; every artist’s dream is to see their art impact the world, and this week I’ve had to privilege to see it first hand. Thank you for everything. Even the shops stealing my design don’t bother me much anymore; we’ve found an excellent strategy to make sure I or my shop is tagged when the image pops up.
I am honored to be part of this amazing movement. Even if it’s as simple as making a sticker that so many enjoy.
If you want the link to shop or to share if you come across the image in the wild it’s here: https://show-me-your-mask-shop.myshopify.com/
Weird seeing spam comments on substack.
@Jordan Washington Dude you are all the way in this group. Are there any real sports betting geeks? I have some questions about this crypto betting platform - https://tinyurl.com/3fbhv4ts
