Taking a moment to celebrate and reflect.

Thank you to everyone who has continued to support us all this time. The last few months were especially rough for various reasons, but we are getting back on track towards progress. My last update was pretty emotionally heavy; finding my grandma’s name in the National Indian Boarding School archive was a lot to process.

I am glad I filmed it. I was disassociating the entire time, and I don’t remember it clearly. But I have the video I can look back on. I am also glad I shared the video. It’s being seen by other descendants, and they are also finding their relatives in the database. The Native American Boarding School Healing Coalition reposted the video on IG, which was an honor. They host the archive, and I reference their work in almost all of my videos about Indian boarding schools. They are my go-to reference for resources.

The next thing I’d love to share with you is my partnership with Illuminative, which is to invite you all to the live stream of their upcoming conference on Native Visibility and Power. I aim to be there for at least one of the days!
